Gym Boot (Converse) crochet slippers

These slippers are worked in 8 ply (DK) acrylic yarn with a 4mm hook. I’ve worked the white toe piece, then the tongue over 12 sts and with a curve at the top. The sole was then worked on the other side the same as the tongue, but over 14 sts. The curve at the heel end makes the body easy to work up from it with no joins.
Terms used are UK so where I’ve used dc = sc US, tr = dc US, etc.
More rows could be added to the top of the boot if desired. Should fit almost any adult foot, including my husband ;-) Could be adapted for almost any...
